When we checked into the room we were told that there were linens on the pullout bed. It was mid-April and even snowing in Santa Fe. When we returned from dinner we found we had no linens or blankets for the pullout bed and no one available for help. The shower drain was slow thus there was standing water while... More

Yes, there was a mistake with the sofa bed not being made up. That is a mistake that has been addressed with the staff. As for being placed in 'the worst room in the house', our rooms are selected by the guest when they reserve. We do not choose the room for them. Also, the guest was given a 50%... More

It was our second time there, and we loved it more than the first time. The Millay Room was the most beautiful room I've ever stayed in, with its crystal morning light, charming adobe and viga (beam) architecture, and atmospheric views of the town and the Sangre de Cristos at sunset. The breakfasts were excellently prepared and convivial with our... More

We loved the charm of this place. Very helpful staff & a delicious breakfast. The grounds are well kept, & the owner is especially knowledgeable & really contributed to our having such a great trip up there. We will look forward to our next visit!

I've stayed at the Inn twice, and cannot say enough about the ambiance, gracious hospitality, spic-and-span rooms with lovely décor and very convenient location. When you stay you feel as if you are sharing in the history of old Santa Fe--and you can snuggle up at night to a roaring kiva fire dreaming of the amazing breakfast you'll have in... More

We recently stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our visit very much. The inn is very charming along with the 2 owners and their dogs. Delicious breakfast each morning specially made for each guest based on their request. Inn is close to downtown Santa Fe and we walked each day into town so no driving was needed. Inn is decorated... This bread and breakfast is a great Santa Fe experience. It is situated is an historic home located several blocks away from the Santa Fe Plaza (about a 10 minute walk). The comments stated in the other reviews are accurate. The aspect which makes the experience at this Inn fantastic is the personalized service and warm hospitality provided by the... More

One night only was all we had in the arms of The Turquoise Bear but we had great hospitality from Robert and Ralph, breakfast was a real treat. Rooms authentic and the Inn is reasonably well located a short walk from town. Highly recommended especially the 6pm drink of wine with guests and owners.

The Inn has a rambling southwestern style with an interesting history that Robert and his friends described over a glass or two of wine during the evening happy hour.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location is an easy walk to the plaza, galleries and museums. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and prepared to each person's preferences. The bedroom was small, clean,... More

This is an unusual place, an old hacienda-type building which goes off in different directions. Robert, who runs the establishment, could not have been nicer or more helpful, and he makes a mean breakfast every day. (Don't pass up the biscuits and gravy!) Rooms are very nice, the staff is friendly, and we loved both dogs and both cats. The... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary for a few days. We had never been to NM before. Robert was the best host! He met us at the door and already had champagne in our room for our special day. Tom was so nice and helped us find places to shop, check out art, get scenic... More
