We had a business retreat and the room is wonderful for this, it is the old presidential suite. We also had dinner in the restaurant, where service was excellent as well as the food. We spent the night and everything was fantastice. more

fairly convenient location, a few miles from the plaza. We had one of the older units, and it was fairly rundown, badly in need of some new carpeting, etc. . The unit was quite large and the grounds are very nice. We didn't make use of the facilities so the 30/day resort charge was really quite annoying. more

Bishop Lodge was a great place to stay in Sante Fe. We booked our reservation through Priceline. When we received our bill, a resort fee was added which was $15 per person per day. We had two nights here and loved the privacy, spa with meditation class, pool, dining and free internet, plus a very nice room with super comfy bed, more than adequate bath with spacious porch. We just returned from our anniversary trip. This year we chose Santa Fe and decided to check out the Bishops Lodge because of it's history(it's been around over 90 years) and its proximity to town. This place is really not "bad", it's just not worth the rates that they charge. For $300/night plus obligatory $30 resort fee and tax I expect a lot. This hotel doesn't have the luxury ambiance that this price point suggests. Such a gorgeous location and so pitifully managed. The reservation process was messed up from beginning to end. Upon checkout they tried to charge me a much higher rate than they had confirmed for me when I made the reservation. It was taken care of, but after much ado.
