This was my third trip to Santa Fe and first trip for my adult Daughter. I wanted to stay close to the downtown but wanted to have the luxury of space that a hotel couldn't offer. I read some reviews on the Madeline/Alexander Inn and was intrigued. Both my Daughter and I were DELIGHTED when we drove into the small... more

Very close to Santa Fe's central plaza and only two blocks from the art galleries on Canyon Road! Perfect whether driving or flying. Reserved parking. Safe, quiet, and secluded. Full size, fully-furnished kitchen. Beautiful tiled bathroom with a gigantic whirlpool bathtub. Furnished with a tasteful mix of antiques and Southwestern-style furniture. Tiled floors. *Fabulous* (and gigantic) leather sofa. Friendly and... more

We stayed at The Madeline Inn which is part of Alexanders. The staff is polite, professional and helpfu. Our room was the Morning Glory Room in the Madeline Inn. Lovely room though a small bathroom but that was not a problem. The Nirvana Spa treatment I had was heavenly! Breakfasts both mornings were delicious. more

I was a first time traveler to the Santa Fe area and I couldn't have had a better time staying at the Juniper Casita. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed at the Madeleine Inn, given directions to my little house, and arrived just 6 blocks from the plaza. The Juniper was perfect with its kiva fireplce, huge bank of... more

I consider Alexander's Inn and the Madeline (located just blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza) to be a hidden delightful gem tucked away on a quiet street across from La Posada, which I came across by chance after missing my flight back to Washington D.C. and desperately needing a place to stay for two nights. I've since returned to Santa... more

We had a fabulous time in the Juniper earlier this month, though regret that our baby’s cries clearly disturbed our neighbors in the adjoining Pinon unit. Our rental car was also going off for no apparent reason, though we did manage to get a new car after a couple of days. We feel very badly that it had such a... more

We spent 4 days at the Pinion in July 2009. Inside the suite is spacious, well decorated, and has nice amenities. Unfortunately, the neighbors and their dog were loud. Later, I found out that if I were to call the Carolynn, the owner, she could have remedied the noise situation. If you encouter this problem, don't hesitate to contact her... more

The Pinon is a very nice two story house, it has two large bedrooms, a full kitchen, a large living room and laundry facilities. It's conveinient to the plaza, about a 5 minute drive but it's not within walking distance. The one negative is the road it's on, it's a rutted dirt road that runs up a steep hill. This... more

Our every need was met from the moment we arrived. Beautiful garden for our pup to roam in. Wine basket was a great touch. Very dog friendly location. We enjoyed the short walks to the downtown plaza. We can't wait for our next visit. more

We stayed in Alexander's Inn "Cottage" (http://www.alexanders-inn.com/cottage.html) they have several separate small homes located just off Palace Avenue in Santa Fe.) It was wonderful- we had a separate bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, lovely large living room with dining table and adobe fireplace, kitchen and large bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful details... more
