We'd like to thank River, Carolyn & Ted for an amazing experience. From the moment the staff picked up the phone at Alexander's Inn, I knew that we were in for a great trip to Santa Fe. The kind of people you want to deal with when you're traveling to a new place are people who not only love their... more

We love the Cottage and try to stay there whenever we are in Santa Fe. It's feels very much like home, but also very much like Santa Fe, with it's kiva fireplace and beautiful blue tiled bathroom. We enjoy coming "home" after a busy day of touring to this peaceful and spacious haven. Sometimes we sit on the front porch,... more

Just back from a three night stay in The Cottage at Alexanders Inn. The cottage was exactly as it looked in the photos, but the small personal touches made it just perfect. The welcome pack of cookies , fruit wine salsa and chips were such a treat after a day of travelling sitting outside on the patio in the lovely... more

We recently had the pleasure of a fabulous four days in Juniper, which is a spacious, light-filled and beautifully decorated casita. I love inns, but my husband prefers to be more private than most inns allow, and this was the perfect compromise for us. We arrived to homemade cookies and a very personable innkeeper at the sister inn (The Madeleine)... more

Alexander's Inn is actually a collection of four small houses. Two old friends and I stayed in the Casita and Cottage, which share the grounds of the inn, where the innkeeper and her family live. Although just a few blocks from the plaza and the Canyon Road galleries, we were off on a side street and enjoyed quiet, stars, and... more

We stayed at "The Cottage" for ten days in October 2007 and found it to be the perfect location for getting comfortable with Sante Fe and the surrounding area. The accommodations were exactly as described and pictured on Alexander's Inn website. The Cottage is an easy walk to downtown and Canyon Road. There was plenty of room to consider the... more

My husband and I have stayed at Alexander’s Inn annually since our 1998 wedding. We initially chose the Inn because we liked the staff. This has remained true over our 9 years of staying there. Alexander’s Inn was a B&B until recently as the owner, Carolyn Lee, moved into the main house (which has freed up parking behind the Inn!).... more

I found Alexander's Inn on the Santa Fe website. I followed the guided tours of the rooms, but was sold when I found intriguing recipes on their website. We stayed 4 nights in March. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Close to the heart of the city, the location is ideal. The owner, Carolyn, and her wonderful staff were ever... more

The Alexander's Inn/Hacienda Nicholas is a charming place. The breakfasts, snacks, and evening wine & cheese are wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the common-area was great, and, the staff & clientele was most enjoyable. I have two minor complaints: there isn't a separate thermostat for each room (a common problem at B & Bs, and the room was a little... more
