Booked on line. Rented two places for one night and was pleased with both of them. It was not, by far, the best place we've ever stayed, but for the price of one night, it was a great place to stay. I would not recommend a multi-night stay.. more

We made reservations about two months ago, had a change of plans and cancelled them the same day. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that we had been charged for a 3-day stay anyway! Now they refuse to refund the money, and although we will eventually get it back, it would have been much easier and more pleasant if they... more
Dancing Ground of the Sun: Should you come across this place, which is operated by All Season's Resorts, DO NOT fall for the false advertisement of this old, neglected, dirty property.....oh, and by the way, the place has a FOR SALE sign on the building and when we inquired about it we were told by the Realtor that it has... more
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Please listen... This is the worst place we have ever stayed at, and we travel a lot! The first casita we were given had no heat and it was 17 degrees outside. The entire place was covered in a thick layer of dust that we could write in with our fingers. The comforter on the bed... more
The other reviews that have complained about DGS being a bait-and-switch are accurate. We booked a two-night stay based on the misleading photos on its website, which make it look like DGS offers big, clean, fancy suites. We figured that $320/night for a really nice room with a separate bedroom and kitchen was worth it considering that it was the... more

Then I read other reviews and was concerned. Our experience was no where near the other recent reviews I read. Arriving after 9pm posed no problem as the manager was... more
Be very wary of putting a deposit for a room here! A friend and I were attending a week long photography workshop in Santa Fe and booked a room at the Dancing Ground. There was only one room suitable for two people who did not wish to share a bed and we specifically booked that room. When we arrived, we... more
I booked a stay at the Dancing Ground of the Sun a week ahead of time and in-person. I was shown the room I would be staying in, and found it acceptable. I was looking forward to my stay there the following week given the close proximity to downtown Santa Fe. When I returned to my office I found a... more
We stayed in the Rain Dancer room. The appearance of the room was outstanding, everything you could ask for in southwestern decor. The difficulties weren't apparent until later. First, we discovered that the air conditioner, which is at ceiling level, is also the room heater. It is capable of creating a stratum of warm air at ceiling level, but not... more
