Hotel was clean ,and newly updated .Though we were missing a lock on the door . For a no smoking hotel found cigarette marks on tub . Ran out of food for morning breakfast . Also not told about deposit charges or is it posted anywhere in Lobby .not helpful when I call to ask about it more

This is a nice place if you need to stay over in Thousand Oaks, CA. It's a minute from the freeway (Moorpark exit off the 101) but far enough away so you don't hear it and it's clean and the breakfast wasn't bad (waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, lowfat and reg. milk, juice, apples, etc). This recently refurbished hotel was very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful and courteous and the location ws hard to beat. Beds are amazing. Comfortable and nice sheets Spa was toasty but a little bubbly. Breakfast was nice... had hot waffles and eggs available as well as cereal and OJ that was constantly being restocked. After some horrific experiences at this property in its old pre-Quality Inn days, I watched the new management strip this property down to its bare concrete tilt-up walls and completely renovate from scratch. Wonderful place to stay, room was clean and bathroom was wonderful with marble flooring. The area around hotel is so nice, a storybook community with everything you need within a mile as well as lots of nature. Wow! What a surprise! My dad booked this hotel for several us to stay during a recent trip to Moorpark, CA.
