After paying staff for room # 5 in a seedy, damp and outdated lobby, I proceded to my room and struggled with the key which immediately would not unlock the door. We finally located the place, which was our fourth during our stay. First impressions were not good. The reception area was to put it mildly 'grubby', and by some miracle they were expecting us. We were told which room we were in and advised not to use the shower with the door open as it would trigger the fire alarm... more
We enjoyed our stay at the colonial traveler inn. We were able to go on bostons duck tour because of the inn proximity to boston. There is also a lot of entertainment within walking distance of the inn. I would reccommend the place to anyone. more
