My fiance and I decided to plan a weekend getaway to the mountains and we found Luray Caverns Motel West. I was skeptical of the past reviews, but we threw caution to the wind and booked it. We also read a few of the reviews here about not staying but decided to try it based upon the good reviews and we are glad that we stayed here. A Motel 6 or a Super 8 have better rooms. This hotel is straight out of the 1940's. I think that was the last time the beds and pillows were updated.
