We just stayed at the inn on a last minute wine tour booking. The inn was full and we were treated with great service and care. Thank you for making our trip so relaxing and romantic! We will be back. Wine tour was awesome!! more

First of all, I had 2 requirements for our Bed-n-Breakfast, 1 was a jacuzzi tub, the other was a fireplace. The Woodruff Inn boasts both of these. The "fireplace" was a wood box with 1 fake log and 3 oil candles. Not even a nice smelling wax candle. It was a joke. The room was nice and comfortable but besides... more

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in the Stained Glass Suite. There was a fireplace in the main bedroom and there was a little sitting room off the bedroom, which also had a fireplace. There was also access to a patio outside, which was shared with the two other rooms in the main house. The negatives of the... more

Arrived Halloween night - great first impression, beautiful decor. Long wait, poor excuses given for kitchen failures to deliver on time. Late food, rude management, poor manners overall in handling the issue. Dress code very very casual given the charm of the place. Food was blend, far from "gourmet" as advertized. Beautiful place, could be a fantastic Inn with better... more

We stayed in the Woodruff Inns part of the B&B. What the website does not tell you is that the Woodruff Inn is located 0.5 miles up the hill from the main building (and you have to make your way to the main building every morning for the 9-10 am breakfast). The Woodruff also has no longer the Hot Tub... more

Our stay at the Woodruff Inn was exceptional and worth the cost. The house, the accomidations, the food were all first class and what really made our trip was meeting Miss Ann Merrigan. She went out of her way to make you feel welcome and special. more

We had their prix fixe menu one night during our stay in Luray. Outdoor seating was nice, and our server was pleasant, but I thought $35 was too expensive for what we got. Maybe part of it were wrong choices of food by me... My husband had their shrimp and grits appetizer, a steak entree, and some little flaky pastry/key... more

We spent our 22nd wedding anniversary at the Victoria Inn, part of the Woodruff Inns complex of Inns/Bed & Breakfasts. The Victoria Inn was at the high end of the scale in terms of service and price. We had a delightful and romantic experience throughout our two night stay. We stayed in the Turret Suite, complete with a king-size poster... more

I reserved one of the cabins for my boyfriend's birthday. It was well worth the price! After being there after only an hour or so, we both wished we had booked for longer! The view was amazing, the cabin was beautiful and clean, and the service and great. The only the area that we were very pleased with was the... more
