Our family had a fun weekend at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Luray. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that had a bathroom and separate bedroom. Usually we find it difficult for our family of 5 to find 1 room accomodating us, and this was perfect. With two pyramid bunks everyone had plenty of room. We love campgrounds because there... more

Visited in early August 2009 with the Wife and two daughters, ages 8 and 11. This was our second stay at Camp Luray. We stayed in Cabin C77 which was located against the woods on one side and about 4 feet from Cabin C76. Jellystone is all about kids and fun. It was nice to see my daughters looking foward... more

My wife, two kids (ages 5 and 7) and I camped at Jellystone in Luray, VA for a four day weekend in August. The first thing we noted was the the campsites are small--smaller than I have experienced at another Jellystone campsite in Hagerstown. The second thing I noticed was that my "partially shaded" site consisted of one tree. We... more

Great place to stay right near the mountains and Skyline Drive. My boyfriend and I stayed in the comfort deluxe cabin for 2 nights. The cabins were very beautiful and had enough kitchen utensils/plates/pots and pans to get buy for a few days of simple cooking. The only downside to the cabin were the beds. They were very hard. The... more

Where to begin... We were expecting a quiet, relaxed weekend of camping. Instead, we listened to kids running around yelling and screaming, families yelling at their children, a keg party a few sites over. We were packed into the camp sites like sardines. The showers were cold. But the absolute best part (read: worst part) - the trash collector's picking... more

We just returned from a S/S/M/T trip there. I agree with the comments of “Nice comercial campground, very clean” below. All of that was accurate. My only signifcant complaint is the golf cart issue. They are handy but $$, and many kids drive them even though it is supposed to be over 18. So, many of the kiddie drivers are... more

First the good- location and excellent and friendly staff. Now the bad - we booked a campsite - the primitive sites were sold out so they gave us one with water hookup - for $ 56 a night! - the sites are packed close together like sardines - you can hear the person in the next tent breathe. The sound... more

We usually take 2 cruises a year and are use to being completely pampered. As our kids have started to move away to college (ages 23, 20, 19 and 14) It is harder to go on vacations together. Last summer we could only get together for 3 days, so we decided to go to Jellystone. (About an hour and a... more

This is a AWESOME family campground. We have just gotten back from a 3-night 4- day stay over the Labor Day weekend at this campground and not only was the kids sad to leave I was also upset to have to leave this wonderful campground. We have been to quite a few campgrounds over the years and it was by... more
