We stayed for one night and wished it could have been longer. The room was clean and comfortable, the dinner and breakfast were delicious, our host, Tom, played guitar and sang after dinner, and then we enjoyed an amazing star-gazing experience with Tom's expert guidance. What you get is basically a room in somebody's house. The location, about 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, is on a plain in the mountains. A Shooting Star Inn is not for everyone. Don't expect the usual B&B treatment (i.e. chocolate chip cookies & tea @ 4pm). Think of it more as a visit to a good friend's house!
