Horrified by the state of the rooms, one of which was Freddie Mercury, they were dark, dank and felt very seedy, as in porn.Lights did not work properly, carpets were filthy,yes filthy. If you like clone hotels, don't stay here where the rooms are individual (many named after famous guests) and they ask you to be patient with their elderly lift! But if you want character, friendly staff and being in the centre of things, then this is the place for you. more
