I recently visited Flagstaff from Tucson for a triathlon. Since I'd only be there overnight, I just needed a cheap, secure room with a good bed and a hot shower. After reading the terrible reviews on here, I was prepared for the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel had a new coat of paint on the outside and... more

I was prepared for the trains, having read about them in the reviews. The young man working the desk was very helpful the second time I called for directions. However, inside the room....only one set of towels (in a King room). The battery compartment for the smoke alarm was open...and empty. The curtain didn't _quite_ reach across the entire window.... more

As I opened the door to my room, the first of many trains went by, horn blaring long and loud. I almost jumped out of my skin. All night long, the trains came by. Every 10-15 minutes. When it wasn't the trains, it was the guy in the next room screaming expletives at 3:30am. When it wasnt the guy, it... more

Here is what I said to my 'wife' while staying at the Luxury Inn Flagstaff: "Hey honey, is this wash cloth supposed to be the towel i use to dry off after I shower?" "Hey honey, is there a train in the parking lot 23 hours a day?" Hey honey, is that blood or is that vomit on the side... more

I reserved a room at the Luxury Inn via Expedia. The listings mentioned that the rooms were had approximately "2525 square feet of living space", a virtualy impossibility but even with some room allocated for exaggeration, I still had high hopes. My hopes were dashed when we pulled up to the rather ramshackle "Geronimo Inn" with the two newer additions,... more

This place was on a trip of many, so price was a concern sometimes. With that said, motel was clean, people helpful (needed more towels-via 1 towel in room for 2 people?), but the major concern is the non-ending trains. They never stopped. I didn't believe trains could run forever and ever. So this was a very big drawback. But... more

This motel is located next to a train track. I guess if you have a hearing problem it won't matter. However, be aware that the train is across the street and very noisy. Also, they run a lot. The location is terrible. There are no shops anywhere. If you want to stay in Flagstaff, stay in west flagstaff. That's where... more

I booked this through Expedia and they rated it a 2 and a 1/2 star. Motel 6 is better than this place. The first room they put us in did not have heat and the smoke detector was beeping. Therefore I complained and the moved us to another room. The other room had a fresh paint on the wall. Therefore... more
