My pregnant wife and I needed a place to stay in Flagstaff, due to adverse wather conditions. We stopped at the first hotel we saw, the Budget Inn. The price was a bit more than I wanted to pay, however, it was not outrageous.

We went into the room and nearly bruised ourselves as we plopped on the hard beds. I looked around and realized that the curtains were very stained, the carpet was worn out and ther was no clock. All of this I could deal with, but after a few minutes, we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I realized out vent was connected to the room next door and smoke was pouring into our room from theirs. I informed the front desk and the woman simply confirmed the room next door was a smoking room. She then directed me to a closed gas station so I could buy matches to light a candle. After searching in the dreadful weather, I finally located matches.
