Downtown Flagstaff is a very noisy place especially at weekends with the bars and clubs heaving with people and the trains going by honking their horns every 30 minutes or so. If you're looking for a reliable, no-surprise experience, maybe you should stay at a chain hotel......but if you're the type that appreciates the uniqueness that certain places hold, by all means stay at the Weatherford. The Weatherford is interesting, like the adage "may you live in interesting times." My husband and I stayed there on a summer trip in June of 2004. The Hotel Weatherford leaves out some important information in their website description: First, the hotel has a 1:00 AM curfew. The front doors are locked at 1AM, and if you aren't inside yet, too bad for you.
