This was a wedding anniversary trip and the Grand Central Hotel was recommended by friends. Unfortunately the hotel was a disappointment. First problem was our room. King size bed however it was right over the kitchen and the grill and the grill ventilator so all we heard was HUMHUMHUMHUMHUMHUM clear up to 10:45pm!!!! Big bucks we are paying and no... more

Being a corporate pilot this is one of the best steaks I've ever experienced. I travel to many destinations. Previous comments regarding pricing of this hotel and restaurant would be of no consequence if patrons would research the internet. We stayed here in June this year and I was definitely reluctant to pay NYC prices for a hotel room in the middle of the prairie in Kansas. But boy, were we rewarded for it!!! We ate dinner in the hotel's restaraunt, which is a destination throughout KS. The steak was the best we ate in KS, MO, and NE.... more

A very quaint hotel. Obviously not a town with much going on, but that's the point. We spent a few days roaming around the Flint Hill's and found this little place a nice oasis. We spent a week there one day. Now, it is best hotel in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, no doubt, but that says it all... there is NOTHING to see or do here. But get your wallet out, because nothing costs something, at the Grand Central. Dinner: Steak, small potato, and a wilted salad - NOT PRICELESS. Room: Yippee, Cowboy decor!!! Scratchy... more

This little hotel is remarkable. The decor is understated western, the food is wonderful, the staff most helpful, very clean, very spacious. All in the middle of this little town in Kansas. Without a doubt, one of our best hotel stays ever! more
