this was the only hotel that had a room left at 2 am while driving through Buffalo. Actually a policeman had his dispatcher find a room for us and our 2 boys sleeping in back of the van! It only had one king and one cot so one boy slept on the floor. This is a dirty, dingy old hotel... more

I work as a service engineer and I am on the road all the time. I usually stay at Holiday Inns. In July 08 I stayed at this hotel for 32 nights. The place is fairly run down. It has gone through some extensive renovation like new carpet, new furniture in the rooms, however some looks like an after thought.... more

It was late and we were getting tired of driving so there wasn't alot of research to this hotel. Adequate for one night (less than 12 hour stay) but for the $100 they charged we could have had better accomodations elsewhere. Towel bar had been ripped from the wall and paper peeling. Generally needed a serious bathroom remodel and clean.... more

This hotel falls short of expectations for a 2.5 star hotel. I am a budget traveller and usually stay at 1-star places like Motel 6 and Extended Stay Suites. This hotel is less attractive and comfortable than those 1-star hotels. Compared to other 2-3 star hotels like Fairfield, Hampton Inn, Wingate, or LaQuinta, it pales in comparison. Specifically, the rooms... more

I stayed at this hotel for the Winter Classic. We checked in on New Year's Eve and I expected to hear some noise...little did I know I would hear EVERYTHING! There are absolutely NO SOUND BARRIERS in this place...to the point I could hear someone cough in the room next to me. I could hear EVERY door opening and SLAMMING... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Hamburg this weekend for the Bills game and location is the only good thing I can say about this property. It needs work BIG time and they have the nerve to charge you over $150 a NIGHT while the renovations are going on. I would advise to stay across the street at the RedRoof... more

The only motel that had a room available so I took it. Old, run down, looks and smells bad. Should have been renovated 20 years ago. I can't believe I paid $150 for this - highway robbery. more

We stayed here for 3 nights. We tried to book with other hotels but everywhere was sold out for the holiday weekend and Hamburg is closer to family we were visiting. First, the price was outrageous given the property. I think this is true of all of the properties located at the Hamburg exit of the thruway. We have stayed... more

Stayed at the hotel 2 nights for a wedding. It's an older facility with dark, smoky, and musty hallways (they reminded me of the hallways in The Shining). The rooms have filthy carpets that were not vacuumed well (there was a layer of dust on the carpet around the desk table, chairs, and the beds). *The mattresses were old and... more

This place is an over-priced dump! Got stuck paying over $100/night because their was a special event in the local area. Overall condition of the hotel is poor -- wallpaper is peeling, the paintin the hallways is peeling & stained, and the carpets in the halls are stained. The rooms are in only slightly better condition. Room cleanliness was les... more
