This is centrally located in Newport RI. Minutes walk from the Cliffside walking tour. And a few minutes drive to the shops. This was such a charming place. The staff and servers at the Cliffside inn were wonderful and attentive. The location was great and allowed us to enjoy both the beach and downtown. However, the place definately needs some TLC. The Cliffside Inn is pretty but lacking in management. When we informed the front desk of no toiletries in the room we were handed 2 items from a container behind the desk. I guess they haven't read their own brochure bragging about their products. The towels that we used the first night were removed from the room and never replaced.... more
