“A hidden gem in downtown”

We had a great visit at the America's Cup Inn. The location is perfect, in the middle of downtown, across from the harbor. Staff was gracious and friendly, really outstanding. Helped with family activities suggestions, arrangements, and comfort. New owners last year (I think) have done extensive renovations and redecorating so the rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable. Previous comments... more

Could be a nice place, if the owner / management took the time to care for it. Soft Rock radio piping through the lobby seems out of place for the quaint building and location. In the lobby, employees are sometimes chatting and smoking! Holes in the walls, peeling wallpaper, drippy faucets, breakfast left a lot to be desired. They tout... more
