Went on vacation with my fiance and found this B&B online and it looked very romantic via the pictures until we first go there. We selected the Elms room which is the only room in the house w/o hardwood floors which we were unaware of. To start with you have to drive to a different house to get your key... more

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Inn. The room was large and very inviting. The bed had a pillow top and was extremely comfortable. We had our own jacuzzi tub and a gorgeous bathroom. The staff was friendly and the free parking was also appreciated. I have recommended this inn to many people and will continue to do... more

My wife and I just made our first trip to a B & B so we were not really sure what to expect. We were looking for a nice weekend away without the kids. I read the reviews and decided on the Wynstone. Rick was very friendly and had wonderful suggestions regarding what to do while in Newport. We chose... more

We went there for our honeymoon and it was great! Michelle the housekeeper was so friendly and can cook just about anything you want for breakfest (I recommend the french toast). Our room, the kingscote, was very nice although it was a little smaller then we thought it would be but the bathroom made up for it. It was so... more

My husband and I went to Newport for the first time and had a wonderful stay at the Wynstone. It not only lived up to its internet description, it surpassed it! Our room (the Kingscote) was both beautiful and comfortable. Rick (the innkeeper) was very friendly and helpful in advising us about the area. Michelle (the housekeeper) did an amazing... more

We were supposed to stay here for our 2nd anniversary. My wife called early in the day on Friday to get a quote for a room. They charged 245 for a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Not a bad deal... So we called Friday night to reserve a room for Saturday and they lowered the rate to 225... more

This is a second time for my husband and I at The Wynstone B&B. First and foremost, our first visit (July, 2004)was A+. We upgraded to The Wynstone and The Breakers room (first floor)--it was just amazing. This year my husband celebrated his 40th birthday just recently and when asked what he wanted to do for a long weekend he... more

I just stayed at the beautiful Kingscote room in the Wynstone Inn this past weekend along with my girlfriend. We are both in our early 20's, and absolutely loved this elegant and graceful B&B. The bed was among the most comfortable I've experienced, our personal bathroom (as advertised large jacuzzi bath, large shower, music...) was delightful, and the location was... more

We were upgraded by the owner to the most exclusive hotel of the four Inns of Newport, The Wynstone, in July for very, very little money. The location cannot be beat, right near Thames Street, but far enough away so as to not hear the traffic and nighlife noise. We stayed in the "Elms Room" and were warned that the... more
