We recently stayed one night at the Wynstone and thought it was great! The location is fantastic if you are there to shop and visit around Newport. The owners and staff could not have been nicer. We were upgraded to the King size bed which was extremely comfortably and the tallest bed I have ever seen. The rooms were clean.... More

The photos of this Inn were not representative of our experience . The Inn is located on the corner a very busy street. The street noise was very loud from traffic and pedestrians. You could hear people talking as they walked by our second story window. As you enter the Inn, the hallways are very narrow and difficult to carry... More

Spent one night at the Wynstone Inn and had a great experience. We stayed in the Belcourt Room. Our first impression, "Wow - what a room!" Beautifully appointed. The bed is elevated, a dramatic centerpiece to the room. The bathroom is large w/ a wonderful jacuzzi. Room was clean, and well maintained. One of the best features, location. One block... More

We consider The Wynstone along with the Clarkston, and Cleveland House B+B's to be the best "hidden" gems in Newport. Great location, free parking, full breakfast, comfortable and affordable accomodations. The owner, Rick is very friendly and very, very accomodating and the staff is wonderful (Suzie makes the best breakfast!!). When we visit Newport we always call The Inns of... More

My wife and I were very happy with our stay at the wynstone. It was spacious, clean and classy. After a nice dinner/night out we really enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi in our room. One of the best features is the central location...everything Newport has to offer is within walking distance. The Inn also offers up a full breakfast in... More

Not sure why reviewer above so angry over the room. Great location, one street from wharfs, shops and restaurants. Just turn on AC to cover traffic noise. A bit inconvenient to check in, several streets up, not sure who to contact for emergency. Dean was helpful, Rick a bit arrogant. Hot Breakfast made to order, more variety would be nice,... More

Just spent 3 nights at the Wynstone Inn and could not have had a better experience. The owner, Rick was very accommodating even before we arrived, making arrangements to have special breakfast items on hand for my husband who had to leave early for work on one of the days. We stayed in the Rosecliff room, which was fine size... More

My wife and I spent two nights in "The Breakers" room at the Wynstone. The location was superb, the room was well-appointed. We definitely took advantage of the fireplace and the jacuzzi tub. Michelle, our hostess, was friendly and very helpful. We would certainly stay here again. More

What was pictured on the internet and in their brochure was not at all what it is like. We checked in at another location, the owner took our money before we even stayed, spent about 10 minutes explaining the city and we never saw him again. Our location at the Wynstone Inn was right on the corner of 2 main... More

The rooms are beautiful and the location is in walking distance to everything but the service is lousy here. We went with another couple and we did not receive the service that we have found in most bed and breakfast's.They run four different bed and breakfast locations and the other three are near eachother but the Wynstone is all alone...
