We stayed at The Windsome B&B for 2 heavenly nights during our 3 week tour of New England, paying $105/night + tax for a midweek stay. I recently stayed at Windsome while in Newport for a conference, and it was lovely. Valerie was very gracious and flexible, especially with my 3:30 a.m. arrival! Windsome is situated in a residential area which I was a bit wary about initially. However, it was in reality very central--within walking distance as well--to all there is to see and do in town.
