I surprised my husband for his 50th with a fabulous stay at the Hilltop Inn. Janet, the Innkeeper and Will were so gracious about making this occassion extra special. The Bellevue Suite was beautiful with 2 fireplaces, a huge spa bath, and a king size bed that was the most comfy I'd ever stayed in at a hotel. Beautiful fresh... more

This was our third trip to the Hilltop Inn (and we have also previously stayed at its sister property The Frances Malbone so I will also compare the two a bit). The Hilltop Inn continues to exceed our expectations. To give you some background, we are seasoned travelers and usually stay at top hotels (i.e. Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton). We... more

The Hilltop Inn was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The warm hello as we passed through the door we instantly knew that it would be a wonderful stay. We stayed... more

Wow! You don't need to say anything else about the inn, service or staff. The place is great. Beds/linens to die for, staff is just sweet as can be. The breakfast is outstanding! Look for the home made croissants! Yumm! and the lite afternoon Tea they offer, it's not lite!! Again a wow! Could go on and on, but everyone's... more

Honestly the best bed and breakfast / inn I've ever stayed at! It has the quaint feel of an inn without that awkward feeling that your staying in somebody's house that you don't know. I stayed in the Touro Room, which was spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous, great ammenities, and one of the best showers I've ever been in.... more

Because we had planned to go on a long honeymoon in Dec, we decided to take a short mini-moon to Newport after our wedding. At first we wanted to stay at the Francis Malbone House but it was a bit out of our price range, the kind reservationist recommended Hilltop Inn and we looked at the reviews on Trip Advisor... more

I have never been to a Bed and Breakfast Inn before. Some friends recomended the Hilltop Inn to us for a romantic getaway.I went along somewhat reluctantly. Now, after a two day stay, I can't picture myself being anywhere else for a getaway. For starters, there was plenty of off-street parking. The house was impeccably kept and spotless and this translated over... more

Stayed here for two night for a getaway with my husband. The innkeeper Janet was very nice and helpful. The home is really beautiful and very well kept. Exceptionally clean and welcoming. Our room, Stewart Room, was very nice and secluded. The bathroom was gorgeous. Breakfast and tea services were excellent. The remainder of the guest room are just as... more

We were looking for the prefect B&B for my son's wedding and we found it. We booked the entire house for three nights and it was the most amazing weekend. No request was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make us feel like this was our home. Each bedroom has it's own personality, and each one is... more
