My family and wedding party took over The Pearls this past October for a four day wedding extravaganza. From day one Ray and his team made us feel right at home. We hosted a welcome BBQ in the backyard that connects the three Inns. The food was amazing. The food continued to be great every morning and our day after... more

My now-fiance and I stayed at Pearls during an off-season period. We needed a Staycation and having enjoyed other B&B's in Newport, decided to stay at Pearls due to their lavish-looking website, as well as a great incentive: Stay one night, get the next night free. Ray, the owner, seemed quite capable during our phone conversations, letting us know our... more

We had stayed the night before at Ocean Cliff and had a miserable night (due to the foghorn- not really their fault), and loud rooms... we moved to the Pearls and had a great stay. The location is the best, close to water, yet far enough away to not be woken by foghorn if you are unlucky enough to stay... more

We just returned from staying at The Pearls for four days during our daughters wedding in Newport. It was the most incredible spot---both families, plus wedding party, stayed at the Pearls and Ray Meyerson could not have provided a more congenial, delicious, warm, inviting---I could go on. The accommodations were wonderful, the meals--cookout the 1st night, light brunch the day... more

I have booked (or at least tired to) several people into the Pearls for our wedding and could never get a hold of anyone. Sometimes I would get a hold of Ray, the owner, and he would ask if he could call me back, which never happened. Frequently, all mailboxes of all 3 phone lines available on the website are... more

Lovely place not far from harbour front/ shops etc. Ray was a great host with nothing being too much to ask. Other reviews have commented on the cost but this seems to be a Newport thing with many B&B's raising their prices in season and even just for the weekend. We had been offered Pearls and because of the cost... more

We stayed at one of the other houses away from the main house. Our room / Suite was fantastic, The main room was larger then I expected and the real fire place is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. I was amazed at how they remodeled the existing buildings and turned them into... more

Searching in vain for a B&B that was not drenched in class New England floral decor, I was pleased to find the classic, simple design at the Pearls. The 4 buildings that comprise the Pearls are historic and charming in many ways. However, I resent paying $425 for a room that has uncomfortable pillows, few of the amenities that one... more

We stayed here in the main house. It was okay. This is not a bad place by any means, but for the amount of money that you're paying, you're expecting luxury. It fell way short of that. I have enclosed pictures, and just by looking at them, you can see that the hotel website makes it appear much more luxurious... more

Breakfast was practically non-existent at this so-called "B&B". Just a couple of stale bagels and muffins. Not even cereal! Getting a cup of coffee was a ridiculous adventure. Then, one afternoon as my wife and I were taking a nap, we caught the two housekeepers thumbing through my wallet which I had left on the end table by the entry... more
