I had a horrible experience this past weekend at Hotel Viking, I got a room without a window! I didn't think this would be possible in a hotel of this high standard. This is a great hotel, have stayed here many times. Staff is friendly and helpful, decor is lovely, common areas comfortable. This is billed as an exceptionally good hotel. We thought it was pretty average. The room was just OK - miles of corridors to get to it, old furniture past its best, poor lighting in corridors made it look more dingy that necessary.
