If I'm staying in Waikiki I always stay at the Hale Koa. I have never experienced anything but the best from this hotel. Huge disappointment. Hotel staff was under manned and overwhelmed with a large group. We loved the partial ocean view room--clean, comfortable and easy access to the ocean. The outdoor bar with live music was a great place to sip a drink and watch the sunset. The PX was perfect for snacks and souvenirs. more
