My husband and I stayed at the Kuhio Banyan Club for a week at the beginning of December. Overall, we had a nice time.
The rooms are very small, which was fine with us, since there were only two of us. They could use a little updating though. There were some stains on the rug, but nothing major. There is a small kitchen which had everything you should need, including silverware, dishes, glasses and some pots and pans. There is also a laundry room (to wash was $1.25 and to dry was $ .75), which was nice to have.
The murphy bed was fine, our only gripe was that the tv is right next to the bed, so when you pulled the bed out, both people couldn't see the tv when you were lying there. You had to have your head at the opposite end of the bed to be able to see it, and even then, only one person could see it due to the closet doors (that hold the bed in) being in the way. To some this may not be a big deal, but we like to lay in bed and watch tv!
