We stayed for 5 nights in the Outrigger Luana Waikiki. It was a great location - close enough to walk to Waikiki (although not extremely close), but also away from the chaos. Our room was very clean, spacious and nice. We had a fridge, sink, bowls/plates, and utensils, but no microwave, which would have been nice. We had a balcony... more

We stayed three nights at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki. It was our third time at this hotel and we have stayed at a number of other Waikiki hotels. We have found all of the Outrigger Hotels to be outstanding properties and good values. The Luana is only a short walk to the attractions of Waikiki. We don't rent a car... more

i have just returned home to new Zealand after staying three weeks at this hotel. Room was very clean ,comfortable and with great views. We had a partial ocean view(more like a full ocean view) studio with a kichenette, Hotel staff friendly and helpfull. I have stayed many times in Waikiki and this has been the best hotel in an... more

We were actually in Hawaii filling a "bucket list" for our very ill brother so no nightlife. But the rooms were wonderfully clean and comfortable, great views from the balconies, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. There were seven siblings in three different units and we all would rate the stay A+ and we'd all return to this hotel. more

This hotel was alright, the location was OK. There is no breakfast, which is common in that area. I had a studio that had a full kitchen and balcony. The kitchen was new and nice. My main complaint is that the staff didn't make it clear that I would be paying an additional charge per night for an extra guest,... more

I stayed here the night the lights went out in Oahau. They were helpful in getting you set up. The hotel staffing was light most had a fair attitude. The rooms were average for a three star hotel. This hotel is more along the lines of a Holiday Inn Express. The room price was also along those lines so it... more

We stayed at the Outrigger for 10 nights, overall pretty good. The hotel was clean and centrally located, close to shops, the main strip, beach and pretty good value for money. However, I was a little disappointed with the customer service. They didn't have a tour desk in the hotel and the staff at reception were not very helpful. Usually... more

We had a fantastic stay. The Room was clean and well maintained. it was the best we have had yet. This was our 10th trip to the islands. I manage nine hotels for a living and the service from the Front Desk to the Doorman was great. They were friendly and helpful the whole time. Thank you for making this... more

My husband and I stayed at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki for 1 week mid-October. What a wonderful stay. We had stayed there previously before the Outrigger chain revamped it - and it was nice then too. Great centralized location, you can walk to Ala Moana or to Waikiki beach with ease. Diamond Head is a fair hike from here but... more

It was our first visit to Hawaii and really had no idea of where to stay. After looking at several hotels I narrowed it down to a few and ended up picking this one, but after our stay, I don't think we'll be back. PROS -location is excellent. just a few blocks from shopping, many good places to eat, nice... more
