The Hilton Hawaiian is a GREAT place to stay in Waikiki. The resort has several towers, four pools, a full service spa and many shops that range from basic to high-end. The hotel is not all that nice and new. Some of the towers are pretty old. I had lots of starbucks coffee and snacks, not because I loved them but because there was naot much more worth having. My husband & I stayed here as first time Hilton Grand Vacation Club Owners and first time to Hawaii tourists. We loved it! It is very expensive at the bars and restaurants but lucky us, we had a full kitchen! Next time I will bring a soft-sided cooler, buy drinks at the ABC store and take them to the pool... more

The grounds over 22 acres are very pretty. There is lots of shopping but very high-end so be prepared to spend more than normal if you buy there.
