I recently just got back from Hawaii!! There was about 14 of us for the pro bowl and my father-in-law chooses the Banyan every year!!! It was my first time and I thought it was great!!! We stayed for 6 nights. The kitchen made it nice to get your own food and stock up the fridge with beer and rum!... More

Waikiki, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii .... a destination just beckoning, when Burnaby/Vancouver in Canada, sees its first snowfall on Jan. 14, 2012. WestJet got us there in 5-1/2 hrs for a 2-week most enjoyable stay at the Waikiki Banyan Resort Hotel. A comfortable suite with kitchen facilities, matched by glorious sunshine, 82F/28C during the entire stay, for beachbumming and tanning, was... More

Where to start? Play equipment for kids was completely disassembled, we were told it had been that way for about three months, and it would take another couple months to finish a simple upgrade. We were not informed of this prior to arrival, and with three kids it was a frustration. One night the bbq we were using did not... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. Unfortunately, Aston Hotels and Resorts does not control the public areas of the property where the children's playground and the BBQ grilles are located. We have been communicating with the Condominium Associaion on the status of the childrens playground and have been advised that the repair will be completed... More

We were guests at the Waikiki Banyan from Dec 2nd to Dec 11th and absolutely LOVED IT!!!! We had 9 rooms in total with our group of 42 scattered from the 8th floor to the 28th. Every single member of our tour party loved the hotel. It was clean, hip, and just absolutely beautiful. We are a cultural group from... More

We spent 6 nights from Dec 18th to 23rd at Banyan. Our first room 1404 on Tower 2 was outdated with dirty carpet and noisy frig. Talked to the front desk the next morning. Jason provided us great service and very helpful. He helped us move to an another room on Tower 1, the room was beautiful and clean. We... More

This hotel has a great location, one block from the beach. Many restaurants are just a walk away. The beds were a little lumpy. The sofabed need to be changed. Great views. The people are very helpful. The pool didn't feel heated. More

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. Our Owner services department is working with the owner of the unit you occupied on the purchase of a new sofa bed. The beds were recently purchased and are approximately 2 years old. Although the pool is heated, we have also advised the Condominium Association of your comment for... More

I am sorry, but all this hotel just completely sucks! We got a room on the 32nd floor, and although the view was nice, the room sucked! We were 30 years too late, all of the room was 80s retro; totally not our style! And it was filthy, the carpet smelled like cat pee with dark stains everywhere! The bathroom... More

A portion of the units in the Aston rental program do need renovation. As all the condominium units at the Waikiki Banyan are individually owned, we are working with our owners on a renovation project to upgrade their units. We anticipate this project to begin in April of 2012. Due to the high occupancy experienced at the end of December,... More

Great location, great service, great rooms. We have a large family and needed a good space with a kitchen. The Banyan has good sized rooms, good kitchen space, and is comfortable for large families. Location is also great. Just a block from a great part of the beach for young kids. More

We stayed at the Banyan for 7 nights from 9th to the 16th November. We checked in to room 2503 in tower 2. It was a lovely room. It had a balcony that over looked the canal and into the hills. The room had a large king size bed, that was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but... More

I took my family (Dad, brother, sister and my two young children) for a family trip this past April to celebrate my dad's 70th Birthday. For the location and room types, The Banyan, was the best choice. It was my second trip to the island but a first for the rest of my party so starting off our trip with... More
