Spent 3 days surfing off Diamond Head and had a great time staying in the top penthouse of the DH Beach hotel.Wake up in the morning, check out all the breaks from the balcony before heading out. The PH is small but very clean and easily accommodated my wife and I and our teenage son. Elevator is a little tight... more

Aloha, We stayed at the Lilikoi Lani Ste in August of 2009. We were very impressed with the management at Ohana Beach Rentals on Oahu. Lisy Gau was more than accommodating; when we were trying to book a place on Oahu at the last minute she quickly responded to all our email inquiries and was able to offer the best... more

We arrived late and everything was perfectly set up by Lisy from Ohana Beach Rentals. We just had to get the key from the lock box and could move into our beautiful suite on the 12th floor. It was an oceanfront suite with the most spectacular ocean views and also great views to Waikiki and the mountains. The condo was... more

I read some of the above reviews and would agree with some and disagree with others. I do extensive travel in the Hawaii area and am usually limited to staying in hotels. I discovered this hotel via vrbo.com, and worked with the unit manager (Lisy Gau) to get a unit for my stay. Lisy and her team were very accommodating... more

Units advertised by GoldCoastRealty as PH units, are not PH - they are simply the 13th floor, and there are two floors called "suites" above, with ensuing noise from furniture moving over tile floors...lanai doors rumbling open/closed. Cheap window air conditioner is 12" from your bed/head. Wind was strong and rattled the windows and doors all night, hence no sleep.... more

My family and I stayed at the Leilani Suite unit 501 for the first few days of March. It was a very nice older style unit with a full kitchen and 1 bathroom. Great views from the Lanai. Only fault is thatn the 2nd bedroom was throught the masterbedroom to get to it. So when you had to use the... more

We enjoyed a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay at a privately owned apartment at The Diamond Head Beach Hotel. The view from the lanai was spectacular as we could see both the ocean and Diamon Head. The location of the apartment is only a 5 minute walk to Kaimana Beach and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the aquarium,... more

We stayed for a week in the Hibiscus suite which we booked through VRBO.com and Ohana Beach Rentals Hawaii. We traveled with two adults, two school age children and a baby. The suite had two bedrooms, a full kitchen and a bath with a shower (no tub). It was clean and comfortable and had a nice lanai with an ocean... more

The DHBH is probably the biggest cockroach hotel, dive in all of Honolulu. The rooms are small and the entire feel of the place is very odd! It is a mix of regular people living there and tourists. Do not be tempted by the rates, move onto better places in Waikiki! more

This is the best sunset spot on the island. From our third-floor lanai in the Hibicus Suite (booked privately and not through the hotel), we witnessed the day end from a fantastic vantage point. This condo is spacious, well maintained, well stocked, comfortable and convenient to Waikiki and the Kapahulu neighborhood. Parking is 25 cents/hour on the street 10 a.m.-... more
