The staff is very nice but the rooms are old and musty. The bathroom was updated and is very nice but the bed linens, throw pillows, carpets and furniture are old and wornout. The tv was a 20 inch tube tv and the reception was poor. I would not stay here again. more

Lovd opening the window and letting the ocean air in every night, the beds are great, the pillows are wonderful...well everything is wonderful there...Loved the staff, especially the gift shop...and he valet guys were wonderful. Huge windows that open up to let the sea breezes in, plus Ala Moana shopping center is a few minutes walk away (huge food court with lots of budget food choices). more

we had a great time at Hawaii Prince. the location is perfect for us, not as busy as the middle of Waikiki, but within walking distance. Ala Moana Beach park is even closer and nicer than the beaches at Waikiki. Hotel is clean, and the bath room is huge, has separate shower and tub; the pool is nice and quiet... more

When we checked in to our room we were appalled by the decor. Old and outdated, worn carpet, not very clean. The bathroom had been totally redone and was great but the rest of the room was very old. We stayed at the Hawaii Prince in late August before boarding the Pride of America cruise. We got a great deal with a car through Expedia for $604 (4 nights with car).
