This is a beautiful hotel with wildlife and a tropical setting. It is close to everything. Those are the only reasons why I would stay there again. With the price that we pay for the stay is basically just the price you're paying for your room it does not include anything else. Had to pay for the internet. $12 dollars... more

My husband and i absolutely LOVED it here! I know that it was pricey, but we got to stay for free with his Hilton honor points (so not really for free since all the hotel points up to that cost money). We got a room in the executive building- Ali'i Tower (since it was our honeymoon). It lead right out... more

I can' t say enough nice things about this place! We stayed here with Hilton points (175,000 for 6 nights). When you sign up, you have the option of being upgraded to different views for a nominal fee ($59 per night for the Alli Tower). We opted to do this. However, we were not charged a dime extra and were... more

We came here with our 3 children, ages 15, 12 and 4 and we all loved this resort. We were upgraded to an oceanview corner suite on the 21st floor of the Tapa Tower and the view was outstanding! First of all, the location for us was great. We originally booked a room at the Outrigger on the Beach but... more

This was our first trip to Hawaii. After flying a total of 19 hours from Europe, we were glad to finally arrive and looking forwards to relax. Check-in was very friendly. After noting that we were staying 12 nights, we were given room 469 in the Diamond Head Tower. A disaster. The balcony overlooked a roof that was littered with... more

... with apologies to "Snakes on a Plane!" The room is a standard Hilton room; the village itself was quite lovely with a myriad of shops to browse. The location of the hotel cannot be beat; it is in walking distance of the famous beach of waikiki and the largest mall of Hawaii. There is even a Starbucks, McDonalds, IHOP,... more

My first trip to Hawaii. We were orginally to stay in the Kalia Tower. When we arrived they told us it was booked and wanted to send us to another "sister" hotel. I told them "NO" They called a manager and we were given a room in the Tapa Tower ocean and mountain view. It was beautiful! You actually do... more

We travelled witj another couple both celebrating anniversaries. We arrived on Sun, June 28, 2009. Stayed in Ali l Tower. Originally scheduled to stay in Rainbow Tower. We had a view of the large pool and a partial view of the water. Was ok for us. Other couple had lots of baby roaches in their original room. Looked at 2... more

Ok so you can rave about the HHV because of it's location on Waikiki (which is outstanding) and that it offers all resort ammenities. But my husband and I had nothing but difficulty trying to stay here and attend a conference at the hotel. Our room had no closet for hanging clothes other than the TV consul and there were... more

We arrived Wednesday, July 1st. Today is July 3rd! If I'm disgruntled enough to write this after TWO DAYS... well, you get the picture! Staying on the 12th floor of the Lagoon Tower. BOTH nights so far, they have held private parties on THE GROUND below and behind the Lagoon Tower. Music SO LOUD, I couldn't HEAR the TV... TWELVE... more
