I sayed for 5 nights using points. It was the only IC Hotels property in Hawaii so it was our only choice. Thankfully the restricted choice didnt end up being a problem. The hotel had just finished renovations when I stayed there. They have done a good job of the rooms. The hotel pool was very quiet - like having... more

Spent over a week in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and it was well located. Room was excellent, I couldn’t ask for better. I wasn’t a fan of the restaurant though, it seemed to be run separately from the hotel. There was no wi-fi but you could hard cable your laptop for a free Internet... more

Had a brilliant time in Honolulu after a cruise around the Hawaiin islands this was the perfect ending to a lovely holiday. This hotel is the best value for money that you will find in Waikiki. The rooms are spotless clean and have just ben refurbished, staff are freindly and will do anything they can to make your holiday memorable.... more

I stayed at this Holiday Inn 3 times last year (June, Sept, & Nov 2008) and I must admit the ownership took notice to the much needed renovations required. Although the SERVICE is still outstanding, the added bonus of a new FRESH FEEL of the rooms makes coming back to the room after a long day at the beach much... more

Stayed here in the middle of March for 2 nights and the hotel has definately improved since my last stay here at the beginning of 2008. The rooms are currently going renovations and on checking in, we found ourselves in one of the new rooms. Whilst the rooms are on the smaller side, the new fitouts of the room bring... more

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip to Hawaii. It was a clean, comfortable spot to rest our head at night. It is located close to downtown Honolulu, and within walking distance of a few restaurants and shopping options. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. more

Upper floor room got severe traffic noise and vibration from Ala Moana, due to a late-discovered non-closing sliding glass window. Older construction with loud self-slamming doors. Bathroom was small but fine. Bedding seemed overly hard. Mini fridge was fine, hairdrier in room. No WiFi but wired Internet and cable movies on 27" CRT TV, but no iPod/MP3 inputs. No in-house... more

We stayed here one night in January 2009. We arrived very late from an international flight. The front desk greeted us by name (probably because we were the last ones to check in that night!) We were assigned a room on the 16th floor, which another reviewer noted, is the top floor except for the penthouse. We were facing Ala... more

This is an older hotel, but was fine. I was given a room on the 16th floor (top floor exept for the PH), facing the street. The windows do not seal when closed, so the sound coming from the street was as if the windows were wide open. The lobby was large and nicely furnished, and the staff were all... more

Older clean and quiet, no-frills (including no restaurant) hotel Decent workout room - small pool Staff amazingly helpful and friendly A short walk from the beach - next door to the Hilton Hawaiin Village Very good price option hotel for a one night stay before we headed out for the cruise - would not have wanted to spend more time... more
