This Ohana is in a great location for beach, shops, restaurants, bus service. Our room had a partial ocean-view with kitchen, but prices for food are reasonable, so we didn,t use the kitchen. Save your money, stay here and enjoy a little extra spending cash more

The room with kitchentte was very small, COLD water in the shower. Kitchentte was very small and useless. We checked out after one day and for the smae price went to a 4.5 star hotel 100 meters away from it. Very bad hotel. If you can, stay away from it. Does not worth your money. more

We stayed in a one-bed kitchenette originally allocated a room on the 6th floor, due to a problem with the refridgerator we were fortunately moved to a room on the 12th floor, the views and the noise levels were so much better from there. The location was excellent and the security was good, we felt quite safe. The front desk... more

This hotel was even better than we expected from the reviews here on TripAdvisor. The room was clean, and larger then expected as well. We did not get a kitchinette, or a view, those would have cost us extra. The location was within a block of the main street with all of the shops and restaurants. We didn't get to... more

We had originally booked online at the Ohana West (across the road), but were notified before our arrival that we had been upgraded to the Ohana East (at the same incredibly cheap online rate). On arrival, we elected to upgrade to a kitchenette (extra $10/night). The staff were all very friendly. The room was fine, not huge but adequate. We... more

Booked the trip as a package on expedia. They tried to blackmail me to upgrade to a more expensive room by parking the room linen cart in front of the doorway, so that it needs to be moved EVERY time I go in or out of the room. In addition, they use the cart to bang on the door starting... more

I was meeting my husband here as his Canadian warship was doing their final port before heading to westcoast B.C. and home. He got shoreleave and we had a fantastic 8 night reunion there but he arrived first and checked into the hotel I'd booked previously through our agent - the Ohana WEST - across the street from the east.... more

These rooms are right beside the elevator with all the cable noise and vibration same as living under flight path of a major airport.. They do have better rooms well worth the higher prices. The furniture needs painting: 1972 vintage when the hotel was built. The front desk and housekeeping were very efficient. We did get a room across the... more

I have stayed at the Ohana Airport, the Ohana Islander (under renos now), and now the Ohana East. All properties have been very clean, comfortable and basic. The Ohana East location is perfect! One block to the beach, many affordable restaurants and shopping right outside, and friendly front desk and bell agents. I requested an upper floor and was accommodated... more

The location was perfect, only one block from the beach! Also close to all amenities. It perfectly suited our budget as well. We were on the 17th floor and we had the sweetest lady as our housekeeper. The rooms are abit tired and the washrooms are too tiny, but otherwise very nice. This hotel also felt very safe and secure... more
