It's an old dump...there...I said it. The place is filthy and run down. My feet got dirty from the carpet, the room and hallways smelled old, there was blood on my sheets...no hot water. Worst of all....nobody cared when I complained! The service was so bad...with an attitude of..."we've got your money...now what are you going to do". Never...ever....stay here!!! more

I was at the Pagoda Hotel last month for a week - granted it was not for any kind of pleasure trip - I live on Kaua'i and my mother was flown to Straub Clinic (she died the following week) - so I was there on my own and had never stayed at any Honolulu property by myself before. It... more

We needed somewhere to rest for a 20 hour lay over & ended up here because it is walking distance to Ala Moana shopping center. We booked a double room & got 2 very uncomfortable single beds. After a 3 am check-in I thought I'd be able to sleep any way, but the bed was too uncomfortable to stay in... more

No need to say again all the terrible things said by others. It is dingy, in need of some remodeling, and just feels dirty. I had two showers without hot water. The window air conditioner could not cool the room, and it just felt stuffy. The towels are thin and rough, the sheets feel old. The garbage truck woke me... more

At first glance it seemed like an old but OK place to spend a couple of nights....location is great, Sam's & Wal-Mart at walking distance, until you make it inside the rooms to discover that they are dirty and poorly maintianed, bath tub was filthy and when taking a shower the water went from extremely cold to extremely hot all... more

We did not stay or visit anyone staying at the Hotel Tower of this two buidling outfit. This review is based on our seven day stay in a two bedroom suite at their Terrace building. Our first suite on the second floor had a dead fridge and needed to be gutted and redone. Our second suite on the fourth floor... more

The Pagoda Hotel doesn't show up in many guidebooks, but holds a nostalgic place in my mind because that's where my family stayed on our first trip to Hawaii, 35 years ago. This review, however, is based on a stay this year! The hotel is in Honolulu proper, a few blocks from the Ala Moana Shopping Center, but is not... more

This is the thrid time I have stayed at this property over the past few years and it is a functional place to hang your hat in Honolulu. It is not five-star and doesn't claim to be. It is, however, a clean, basic hotel with a pretty good location. You are near the massive Ala Moana Mall for mall wants... more

This is a good place to stay for the work we where doing (POLLINATING) I had to deep clean the room myself!, but enjoyed my stay overall. The only thing that I DIDN'T like is that there is NO INTERNET! Close to everything. Hope to go back next January! Nitza From Iowa more

While this hotel is older and could use some updates it is also clean and comfortable. It was centrally located and within walking distance of many great restarants and you could be at the beach in 10 minutes. If what you wanted to see was not within walking distance you could hop a trolley for a small fee and get... more
