We went to this hotel for one night at the end of our vacation. We checked in around 5:00p, and noticed the plywood, and construction going on. There were only 3 elevators that went to the 1st floor (out of 8 or 10). There were a number of times we had to take an elevator, that would stop on the... more

We just returned from our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki and we had a great time! As you can see from other reviews, the hotel is under construction and the pool in that area is closed, but this wasn't an issue for us. We could hear some construction noises during the day, but it wasn't distracting at all. We expected... more

This hotel used to be lovely. Before going to Hawaii but after having made reservtaions we read that the lobby was under some construction. We contacted Shearton Waikiki and were told that there was some construction but that it was hidden from guests. The hotel didn't offer a discount, upgrade or even a complimentary cup of coffee. We decided to... more

The Sheraton Waikiki is a huge modern hotel on Waikiki beach which seems out of character with the general ambiance of Waikiki. You definitely want to be high up with an ocean view. Otherwise if you are just getting a city view, you are better off at cheaper establishment. If you have kids, they will love the outdoor pools although... more

The hotel is undergoing renovation but we stayed on the ocean/city side and couldn't hear any loud noises and were gone most of the day. Their new kids pool is a mini water park which adults and kids enjoyed! Their other big pool for adults is undergoing renovation and should be available in the next few months. Our room had... more

We love this hotel! The central location makes it convenient to walk in any direction, you don't even need a rent a car. We could rent surfboards and hit the surf in the morning and lounge around the "Great" new pool in the afternoon. The pool will keep your kids entertained for hours, everyday. I would recommend having drinks and... more

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary after bidding on priceline. We secured the room for $100 per night and knew little about the hotel before our stay. We had read the reviews on tripadvisor warning that the hotel was under renovation. We can honestly say that this caused no inconvenience during our stay. The rooms have been... more

The Sheraton has it's good and bad. First, the checkin was confusing-no idea where to go in the building--and it took over 20 minutes. However, they did upgrade to a mountain view room, which was actually partial ocean if you leaned over. Second, parking is expensive ($20/day) and is very confusing also...in Waikiki there are parking garages everywhere and finding... more

The Sheraton Hotel has prime location sitting on the edge of the ocean overlooking the beach and the whole of Waikiki. The hotel is massive so if you are looking for intimate or romantic hotel you are best to hop over next door to the Royal Hawaiian or the Westin. The hotel is under renovations, most of the time it... more

I really loved this hotel! The rooms were very nice - spacious, clean, the furniture was in great condition. My stay here went pretty smoothly, the only small complaint is the beach - it's not really in front of the hotel itself, you kind of have to walk a little and it's actually in front of another hotel. We walked... more
