Staff was very helpful. Room was basic but clean. Shower/bathroom clean and adequate. Could see the surf at Waikiki from our lanai. Air conditioner was adequate. Enjoyed it thoroughly. more

Waikiki Prince is in a great location, super close to the beach, restaurants, shops and bus route. The rooms are very basic but very clean and come with a balcony. Really great rates and you can get your seventh night stay free if you stay the full week....which is great if you are flying out late at night. The reception... more

The Waikiki Prince is a perfect solution for our sometimes bi-annual visits to our former birthplace and home. The hotel is very clean, serviced by two cheerful ladies every three or four days. The front office is extremely friendly and courteous. Beach towels and mats are available at the front desk. We stayed in a standard room w/kitchenette. A small... more

We stayed 2 nights. For a stay where you want a room, cooking facilities and easy access to the beach at a cheap rate this is a world beater. If you want more than the basics go elsewhere. Clean, central and cheap. more

Our family of four (dad, mom, 3-year-old, and 1-year-old) stayed at Waikiki Prince for 7 days. We rented the "Standard with Kitchenette". This really helped out with the cost of food, since restaurants are pretty expensive (we only wish we knew about Costco Honolulu earlier, instead of at the end of our trip). Kitchenette has a small fridge, sink, 4-burner... more

This was out first stop on a three month around the world trip. We were really impressed with this budget hotel, only a very short walk from the main waikiki beach. After reading reviews we tried to book the royal grove but it was full. However, this is right nearby and a great alternative. We had a room with two... more

We use Tripadvisor whenever we travel, so our trip to Honolulu was no exception. After reading all of the reviews, we decided to try the Waikiki Prince. It not only met, it exceeded our expectations. We were two couples and we each had a room with kitchenette. True, the decor was 'shabby chic,' but everything was spotless and comfortable. We... more

I flew into Hawaii on Oct 28th for a 3 week visit and extended it to almost 8 weeks, leaving Dec 12th. I used the Waikiki Prince for my entire stay and I enjoyed myself the whole time. Once you combine the service provided, the Room Rates and the location, you may find it hard to beat. The people at... more

We reserved several rooms as part of a family vacation. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and it's a great location if you want to be able to walk easily to the beach. Also nice to have kitchenette basics, and the rooms are clean and basic for the budget category. I had read the reviews and brought ear plugs... more
