“Good location - good price”

Stayed here for work, good location while still being a a Hilton property. Not far from the beach, nice wal to the mall and convience store virtually next door for all those things at a lower cost. Parking cost is ridiculous, cheaper to park in Boston! Staff is friendly and accommodating, nice sitting area for people watching too.

“Good hotel”

Decent service and good quality, great location. Staff was friendly and courteous. Not much help from Desk staff for facilitating sightseeing tours to see local attractions. Location is prime and overall experience is good.

“All Night Long”

Excellent hotel for the price and a 5 minute walk to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and beach. Only problem is that they are located between Waikiki and the Fire Department. As with any big, city vacation spot...the fire department runs all night long. I'm sure it affects everyone, not only the DoubleTree. Consider this...FD will be there within 5 minutes... More

“Queen sized beds! Hallelujah!”

THANK YOU, Doubletree, for having queen-sized beds, a rarity in Waikiki from what I can gather. I could only find full-sized beds---uncomfortable, imho, for 2 adults and 2 grown children or any family of 4. We all slept well! We gladly sacrificed a hotel on the beach for bigger beds. “DoubleTree Waikiki Good Option”

Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet. Hotel is older, though renuvated. Pool, fitness room are very small. No jacuzzi. Hotel is in walking distance to Waikiki Beach, restaurants, shopping and so convenient option to stay.

OK, you're not on the beach, it's not a tropical paradise, the pool is almost depressing - BUT it's so much less expensive than the beach properties, you're only a couple of blocks to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and its beach and restataurants (and the mobs of people), there is easy walking to the shops you may (or may not)... “Wonderful Stay”

Beautiful property, great and friendly service, great location, great restaurant and Bar, the staff made my stay a memory, looking forward to my next trip to this property :) recommend the breakfast and stop at the bar for a cocktail, walk to Waikiki and the Ala Moana Mall, enjoy all what this property has to offer and the location.
