Historic Vicksburg.....A trip to Vicksburg, MS would not be complete without a stay at The Governor's Inn. To be within a stone's toss of historic downtown, an earshot from great nightlife, or a hop-skip-and-a-jump from excellent dining made our stay in Vicksburg one of the best times we have ever had. This is a beautiful place to stay, when you arrive all you see is old southern charm and incredible gardens.... Do not let this facade fool you. The Governors Inn has been used as both extended stay, and is being turned more into a bed and breakfast. We stayed there for two months and were in constant battle with management,... more

This is a comment from a very upset lady as you can tell. She and her husband were told to leave. They signed a lease no pets and 2 adults. They broke their lease by having guests and their dog move in about six weeks later.They were offered other accomodations. The suite they had was not suitable for a dog.
