Our first experience in a B&B and it was one to remember. What a house and Dan and Mary are so warm and welcome you to their home. It is a great experience having breakfast with other guests at the table and share travel experiences. If you ever visit Vicksburg, stay at this B&B, it is a great experience!! Saskia... more

Our stay at the Belle of the Bends was a very pleasant one. Our son traveled with us, and the room we stayed in had two beds, "The Rosehaven" All of their rooms are spacious! Our room was very clean, and though it was a very hot August night, and we are hot natured people, our air conditioner worked great!... more

The Belle of the Bends is an amazing home. Dan & Mary are very special people and they truly make their guests feel at home. The breakfasts were amazing. I was there for three nights and each morning we had something different and it was all incredible. I stayed in the Azalea Room and it was magnificent. The home is... more

We were excited to find vacancy over a holiday weekend in the number one B & B in Vicksburg. Once there, we understood why it holds this rank. We booked the 'Honey I've got a surprise for you' package and were delighted with all the amenities; champagne, roses, dinner for two, etc. We even enjoyed the surprises left on the... more

As a couple that has spent many a night in a B&B, the Belle has got to be one of the best experiences we've ever had. We have stayed at almost every other B&B in Vicksburg and as I told my husband, I would be willing to go back to the Belle anytime. If you go to Vicksburg, stay at... more

Chocolate covered strawberries or homemade cookies on our pillow, an antique writing desk in our room, a porch swing overlooking the River--just what we were looking for! We went to Vicksburg to tour the magnificent Civil War Battlefield and spent two romantic nights in this grand 1876 Vicksburg Mansion. Our hosts, Dan and Mary, welcomed us with warm Southern hospitality.... more

This was our first stay at a B & B. It was great. We were greeted by our hostess and immediately were made to feel welcome. I did not feel like a guest, I felt "at home" What they advertise is what you get. The breakfast was a very nice affair. Relaxing, with companionable conversation, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast... more

Planning a evening or two in Vicksburg MS? Then choose The Belle of the Bends as your home away from home. This lovely post-bellum house is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The large verandas with their wicker swings overlook gardens that are resplendent and well cared for. Then there are the sumptous breakfasts prepeared by the charming and gracious... more
