My girlfriend and I stayed at the Fischer house for a last minute wine-tasting getaway weekend. Lori was a great host, friendly and informative. She did everything possible to make us comfortable and welcome. We stayed in the overflow room, that has asian decor and a newly remodeled bathroom nearby. The whole house was remodeled to a modern feel. The bathrobes were nice and the entire place very cozy. She had great recommendations for restaurants, walking tours, and of course winery tours. Lori also invited us to the locals corn-bash in a random cornfield in the middle of the boonies--they had a whole bunch of local bands playing, a big fire pit, and free roasted corn on the cob--it was great! The only thing that could have been improved was the quality of the breakfast--besides the fresh fruit, everything else was store bought and not home made, which I have come to expect from a b&b. Otherwise, the hospitality and atmosphere is great! more
