Since your first stay at the Copper Moose B&B nothing has changed - and it's good that way! Besides the nice and clean rooms the home-style Alaskan cooking was delicious again. Kathy and C.D. are great hosts - we really appreciated the conversations with them! The location of the B&B is great for day trips to Valdez and Kennicott. But... more

If you are looking for the Alaskan experience, then this place is for you. The log home is beautifully crafted, set amongst tall trees with views of an open field and the Wrangell St. Elias mountains out your windows. Owners Kathy and C.D. felt like our friends more than just hosts! Accommodations and meals were served with design and were... more

I fully agree with all the praises written by the previous reviewers, I try not to waste space with repetitions. This place is truly amazing and absolute "MUST VISIT" in the area and I would say in the whole Alaska. This was the best accomodation during my 9-day trip to Alaska and Copper Moose B&B is the best B&B I... more

The Copper Moose is located about half an hour from Copper Center in the small community of Kenny Lake. It's secluded yet still connected to the outside world--mobile phones work fine and wi-fi is available. The downstairs features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a shared refrigerator filled with bottled water. Ours (the "Moose Crossing" room) had a queen bed... more

Wow! What an amazing place. Easily one of the best B&Bs I have visited around the world. First of all, the views are stunning. It's in a simply amazing spot with snowy peaks on the horizon that you can see from the balcony or living room. The house is almost brand new, designed by CD and Kathy as a B&B.... more

We stayed one night here and felt like we were part of CD and Kathy's family. They had us up for dessert in the evening and had a great breakfast in the morning. If you are in the area this is the place to stay. more

I cannot give enough praise for the Copper Moose B&B. First let's start with the general area. Just outside of the Wrangell- St.Elias National Park, Mt. Drum and Mt. Wrangell are in sight the entire stay. The house is just of the Edgerton Hwy, which becomes the road to McCarthy and the Kennecott Mines. The house itself is phenomenal. Its... more

In a beautiful cabin in the woods just off the Edgerton Highway near Glenallen and Chitina you will be greeted by your hosts, the vivacious Kathy and the irrepressible C.D. That will be the beginning of a stay where you will learn local history, stay in modern, comfortable rooms, eat way too much delicious food, and enjoy the most gracious... more

We stayed at the Copper Moose for only one night but would love to have stayed longer. The house is a genuine log home built by the owners and despite the address being on the Edgerton Hwy, is extremely quiet and private. The views from the livingroom were gorgeous and I just wish it hadn't been only 15 degrees; I... more
