Cabin was very basic, but the sheets were clean. The trees outside were full of fresh bear claw marks, but you come knowing it's bear country and not to casually walk out at night. Because accomodations in the area are so high, it was the most inexpensive room of my trip.

I have written a number of TA reviews now and most have been positive. This one is not. My advice is avoid these cabins and stay elsewhere in the park if you can. Ok so this place must have been built in the 70's and nothing has changed....neither the decor, furniture, mattresses or even the clock radio!!! It was very overpriced and even the cheapest hotels I stayed at, were better than this lodge!

Stayed in western cabin for 2 nights. We loved it. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Heater worked just fine. Loved the big deep bathtub. Great location and views! It was pricy but worth it and a better value than old faithful inn.

Cons: my skin got very irritated in contact with the sheets, spent all night scratching and the carpet was dirty. The air con is very noisy. And the check in/out is a nightmare.
