Our room was clean and simple. There was no refridgerator or microwave, but we had our cooler and they provided a coffeemaker and ice machine. We planned ahead and brought breakfast and lunch fixings that did not require cooking. They surprised us with fancy bear soap, but that was about all the frills. Who expects frills at Yellowstone?!! more

We have stayed here two times while visiting Yellowstone. For the price and location it is just fine. There is a general store with a restaurant within walking distance. Also the Lake Restaurant with limited menu and hours is nearby. We have taken a radio or a cd player with us both times. This time we drove our own vehicle... more

Go here for the location and to save driving time whgile in the park, otherwise this ahs little to offer. No TV, no radio, walls in hall are bare, no character. You could not make a smaller bathroom, only 2 peiple could share this despite 2 double beds. BUT it will save you time in the park. more

Let's face it, the attractions in Yellowstone are outside the hotel. This hotel allows access to Yellowstone and is somewhat close to Grant Teton National Park. The room satisfies the need for a place to sleep/bathe, that's all. The hotel walls are very thin! You can hear many sounds and voices from the rooms on both sides. Cell phone service... more

...but only just. Ugly buildings mostly surrounded by trees (so don't pay extra for a lake view). Comfy beds and reasonably sized rooms in need of a good spring clean. Coffee maker but no other food heating / storage. Major issue for us was sound proofing especially ill fitting interconnecting doors (1 inch gap at floor level). We had to... more

Yellowstone NP is wonderful. Two full days as a tourist is enough to see the major attractions if you are not camping, hiking or fishing. We stayed three nights at the lodge which was a glorified motel with a trek in the woods to the restaurant. At night its not lit and at that altitude can be daunting. Add to... more

By the time we booked, there were not a lot of options left in the park. Is it overpriced for what it is? yes, but you are in the national park, and it is less than some other options. The public areas of the building reminded me of my college dorm days, the room was like a standard hotel room... more

Staying here was like church camp or a retreat. Very basic. No TV, only double beds, very little insulation between floors, need I say more. I would not stay here again but it was the only option when we made our reservations. The saving grace was that we had 8 female elk and a bull elk come right through our... more

There's a store and a restaurant nearby. Also, the lodge is not very far from the Old Faithful. more

We stayed one night. Thought it was just fine. Pricey, but so is everything else in Yellowstone. The room was very clean and comfortable, easy walking distance to restaurant and stores. Nicely stocked bathroom. more
