While we had a small room in the old part of the hotel with shared bath facilities, it was quite charming. Only complaint was that the shower facilities were on the floor above us. more

The lodge has no amenities, please be advised that th lodge is old, the rooms are small, loud and with out air conditioning, TV internet and some don't have bathrooms. We stayed at the Old Faithful Inn for the first 3 nights of our stay in the park. We found it to be perfect for what we needed, regardless of that fact that we had to walk to the bathrooms. We were looking forward to staying here as we had a great experience at the Many Glacier hotel in Glacier NP years ago. We reserved an "upper tier" room on the first floor. My wife and I stayed here on June 17, 2009 in Room 1049. The Good: This place is beautiful and literally right next to Old Faithful. A recent one night stay in a room in the West Wing of the hotel (end of the ground floor) was not an experience we would want to repeat! Other reviewers have commented on the noise from the radiators - we had a radiator that would not turn off (8th June!) and was red-hot all night, with hissing and clanking... more
