These cabins are ultra modern and beautiful with a western motif. We enjoyed staying there very much. Very quiet and comfortable. The staff was outstanding and the cafeteria is the best we've ever found in our many years of touring Yellowstone. more

No frills, but little yellow cabins here were quiet and comfortable. And, we saw a herd of buffalo wandering through the cabin areas both morning we were here! Bathrooms were showers only (no tub) but clean and suitable. Food options are a short walk away - either back to the Lake Yellowstone Hotel or down the road a bit, to... more

We stayed in a cabin for 3 nights with our two toddlers. After reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor we were concerned that the cabin might be extremely rustic and old. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened our cabin door to a brand new interior cabin space. Sturdy lodgepole pine furniture; fully renovated bathroom and sink area; excellent... more

We stayed for 11 nights in the Lake Lodge Cabins in mid-August. At first sight they looked a bit grim but inside they were a delight. We were in one of the renovated D-block cabins which I think probably benefit from having really effective heaters. There isn't much to them but for the price what do you expect? They were... more

We found this place to stay as being reasonable and clean. These cabin's are very old and some of them, are in the process of being rebuilt. The one we stayed in was very old, very small and CLEAN. We did not find that it smelled bad, but we kept the windows open, when we were in the cabin. We... more

Having read many mixed reviews we decided to take a chance on the "Lake Lodge Cabins". We were happy with our accommodations, having landed in one of the newly renovated cabins in the "J" section. (I also made a point of asking for a renovated cabin.) The cabin was simple and clean with furnishings you'd expect in a log cabin.... more

Have stayed at the Lake Lodge Cabins several times. Some cabins are average by modern tourist standards. But of you want a 5 star hotel with complete concierge go to one. These cabins are being renovated and D loop are done. C loop is in renovation now. The cabins are quaint and rustic. They have 1 or 2 double beds... more

i agree with the reviews that say the area is quiet, with beautiful lake/mountain views from the front porch of the lodge. it is very relaxing to sit on the rockers on the porch and enjoy the view. i must have been in an unrenovated cabin because it was extremely basic with uncomfortable wooden furniture- no place for storage such... more

When we drove up to the hotel in the middle of the night, we were helped in check-in by a very helpful staff, despite the fact that the check-in desk was closed. We stayed at the back of the property and I was slightly disappointed by the motel look when we drove up. We walked in, and were happily shocked... more

Dh and I recently spent two nights in one of the Lake Lodge "pioneer" cabins. We were in row E, cabin #9. Cabin was clean, and plenty of space for two people (which is the most they will allow in this cabin, since there is just the one double bed). Bathroom is tiny, with just a toilet and (very small)... more
