Just got back from a wonderful weekend in Yosemite. Weather was above average. Just beautiful. Trees are in great colors and the falls have water too. Stayed in the Lodge in room 4127 (Tamarack bldg). We are on the 2nd floor and our balcony had views of the falls straight ahead and to the right you could see Half Dome.... more

We only stayed here for 1 night while travelling through but enjoyed our stay here and if we are ever back at Yosemite would definitely stay again. The location is unbeatable. The hotel is dated, run-down and not on par with its costs. Desperately needs a remodel, upgrade, refresh and basic high end hotel managment principles applied. more

Stayed 2 nights with kids 12,10, 7. Despite family rooms being fully booked when I booked we were upgraded to a family room on arrival. This was very spacious and very close to the restaurants and shop. Some reviews on tripadvisor are a bit harsh on this place. I can only say that is was much better than the reviews... more

Sorry, but except for the fantastic natural beauty of the forest, our stay at this hotel was a complete waste of money. The rooms were dingy, outdated, in disrepair and overpriced. We had no heat, windows that did not properly work, a bathroom that needed new tile or at least CLEAN tile and our lights went out in the bathroom... more
