The hotel was packed and we got the last room available. LOTS of people so if you are looking for a quiet Yosemite experience, you will want to go elsewhere. This part of Yosemite has the feel of Disneyland unfortunately. The room was horrible...way overpriced (shows how much power low supply/high demand has). The ceiling was falling apart and had... more

By any normal standards the Yosemite Lodge is way overpriced for what you get; tired-looking rooms with various fixtures and fittings that don't work; barely adequate parking space for all the guests; insufficient dining facilities. The only reason they get away with it is that they have no real competition, and the location is fantastic. Taking the very short walk... more

My family usually loves the older, well-kept lodges within our National Parks. However, this one was just plain filthy. Also, there is no excuse for the old doors that desparately need replacing for safety reasons, as well as the lack of screens on the bathroom windows. I am still scratching from all of the bites received from our evening room... more

Let me qualify this review by stating I'm a professional travel photographer. To give this further context, I've travelled extensively across the globe staying in many places. I have never, ever experienced anything quite so abysmal as my experience at the Yosemite Lodge. Where to begin... On arrival we were greeted at reception by ???. He didn't seem too clued... more

The location is absolutely super. Fun to see deer at your doorstep when you wake up. We had the deluxe room, which was certainly not the best we ever had, nice and clean and had enough space for the three of us. Al bisics where there. Including a Wifi connection. Perfect place family place. A nice family spot. I´d rather... more

It is the location that has it all, absolutely stunning that words just cannot describe. We had a pretty basic room (it is not really a hotel) which we did not really mind. Trouble was that we went July 3rd and it was heaving, everywhere was very busy and we never did get a proper hot meal that night. Try... more

We stayed at Yosemite for 2 nights in July 08 with our two sons aged 20 and 16. We were glad we stayed in the park for convenience - from memory the lodge, which consists of a number of 2 storey buildings, was about 26 miles into the park and on the way out we were driving for about 2... more

When staying at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls there are a few things to remember: 1)You are paying for location. In any other city you would get a really nice room for $200+ per night, however, there are only 4 accomodation choices in Yosemite Valley. Ahwahnee Hotel is almost $500 per night for their standard room, Curry Village is mostly... more

Our room came with a free night's stay. Not for us, but for whatever animal ate our kids' goldfish crackers during the night. We accidentally knocked them on the floor in the middle of the night and come morning they were gone. And the windows above the closet-bathroom wouldn't shut. No screen, just open windows. Flies, mosquitos, come one, come... more

We were staying at the lodge when the recent fires broke out. Our first impression of the rooms were not good. We were in Birch, which overlooks the main road. We were told that this was a refurbished block, but I really cannot beleive that is the case. The room was very dark, and the sofa had some rather dubious... more
