We stayed there one night, not being able to book any other accommodation for that short a stay that didn’t have terrible reviews. It turned out to be a great choice – the location (Yosemite West) was good being inside the park, about a 30 minute drive to the Valley and 25 minutes to Glacier Point. The house was a... more

Loved staying at the Cozy Bear. Location is good for being in a centralized area of the park, with close access to Glacier Point Road, as well as a 20 minute drive to the valley sites, and reasonably close to the Wawona grove of trees. Neal and Carol were very gracious hosts, and the Cozy Bear North suite was like... more

My family stayed at Coyote Walk for 4 nights. The house was perfect for our needs. The location is in Yosemite West and is about a 30 minute drive to the Valley and 20-30 minutes to Glacier Point. It is inside the park gates so that makes things very convenient. Traveleing with a baby, having a house was just fantastic,... more

We chose Cozy Bear after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. Overall we were not disappointed. The alternatives for a stay in July are to stay with the crazy hordes in the Valley (no thanks), a crummy motel outside the park or splash out on the Awanahee Hotel. So for 5 of us the price was not much more than... more

We stayed at Coyote Walk and overall we were satisfied with our stay. The location is terrific and the prices were reasonable. We were close to Yosemite, Glacier Point, and the Mariposa Grove. The place was very large and we had plenty of room for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, plates,... more

Only 12 miles from the Valley. Comfortable, cozy fireplace, stocked kitchen (all but food), GREAT beds and bedding, quiet, owners on site and available for questions/advice, large wrap-around couch in LR that seats plenty of people, CLEAN, outdoor eating area/BBQ with tools, what else can I say? We've stayed there on 3 separate trips and will stay again. Reasonably priced,... more

We stayed at Cozy Bear Cottage for 3 days and found it to be very clean, comfortable, and convenient. It was very private and quiet, yet close enough to Yosemite National Park (the valley area) that we could arrive early and avoid much of the crowds. The cottage was thoughtfully supplied with amenities that made our stay very comfortable. more

We loved the Cozy Bear. We stayed in a hillside two-bed, two-bath chalet (three flights of stairs inside, two flights outside) located one driveway before the main house. It was so spacious and comfortable. The loft bedroom with vaulted ceilings upstairs was huge. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. (There's a nice grocery store in Yosemite... more
