After reading reviews, I was worried about the accommodations we would find at white Wolf. We were pleasantly surprised! Yes, canvas tent cabins are rustic, but they were clean and had better bedding than expected which included wool blankets and comforters. Community shower rooms were clean. We appreciated that this was like deluxe camping, but we did not have to... more

The name, White Wolf Lodge, may be a little misleading. This is not a resort, but it is for friends and family who like the idea of camping without schlepping the tent and most of your gear up to Yosemite. You get a tent with a concrete floor, a wood stove (with wood), candles, beds with linens, card table and... more

People, you need to realize that this is camping. I knew this, and therefore was not disappointed. You pay $100 a night for a "tent cabin," which is a concrete platform with a framed canvas structure around it. There's plenty of room for two people, but beds for four. There are no cooking facilities at all. The restaurant serves all... more

In general not clean, not very comfortable. However the beds in the tent ware clean, good and warm - you need that in the cold nights up there! All very basic. Be prepared to sleep in a tent and to be lost for a couple of minutes when you had been to the restroom at night. Fun to see bear... more

White Wolf Lodge is in a lovely setting in Yosemite: lots of trees, beautiful stars, and wildlife. Among the possible wildlife: bears. So, it is mandatory that you use the bear box provided with your tent cabin (you are even required to sign a statement upon registration that you will do so). You can't leave food in your car because... more

We decided to splurge and spend a night in one of the tents at the White Wolf Lodge after spending some time backpacking and car camping around Yosemite. However I wish I would have saved my money. For $70, we got a canvas tent with a concrete floor, three metal twin beds with a flimsy mattresses and dirty blankets, a... more

My family of four (two teenage boys) stayed in the White Wolf Lodge tent cabins. We are accustomed to camping so it was fine. The Tent had four twin size beds (alittle saggy) with decent sheets and warm bedding for when it cooled off at night. There was also a table , four chairs, cement floor, individual rugs for each... more

My husband and I recently visited Yosemite for the first time and we loved staying in the tent cabins at White Wolf Lodge. We were looking for inexpensive, semi-rustic accommodations that were outside of the hectic Yosemite Valley and the tent cabins at White Wolf were a perfect fit. The tent cabins had everything that we could ever want. They... more

We stayed at the White Wolf tent cabins for one night in August 2006. There are approximately 25 tent cabins on site. Unlike the Valley where the tent cabins on crowded together, there is sufficient room between each tent cabin. Each cabin is equipped with the obligatory bear box and a park bench in front of the cabin. There is... more

We stayed here in Sept., right before it closed for the season, after staying a couple nights in Yosemite Lodge in the valley. There are 4 cute little cabins w/their own bathrooms (think 1920 road-side motel) & 24 tent cabins (heavy white tarp over a wood frame w/a concrete floor, a real door & a couple of mesh windows) that... more
