Zion is absolutely, unbelievably beautiful! Can't believe I've waited all these yrs to get there! Went over Thanksgiving wk and stayed in a suite in the lodge (rather than cabins). Suite is the only way to go. You'll appreciate the add'l real estate to move around in since there's no TV and the town rolls up early in Nov. Bring... more

My family and I spent several days in Zion last summer -- I hadn't been there in years and the improvements were astounding: the rebuilt lodge, the state-of-the-art visitor's center, closing the road to cars and running shuttle buses. We loved every minute of the trip -- particularly hiking the Narrows and the hike up to Angel's Landing. I wrote... more

As per previous reviews, the rooms are nothing flash. However, they are clean, comfortable and well worth staying in. The beds are getting a little old, but they have plenty of space, cute little balconies and interconnecting rooms which were great as we were there with friends. Sure, there is no TV, but a pack of cards kept us busy!... more

This was my second trip to Zion. During our first trip, we stayed in the cabins. This trip, we could only book a motel room. But we weren't disappointed with the comfort and the view. We had the buffet lunch and breakfast at the lodge but traveled into town for dinner. This was our first trip where we had to... more

We debated staying in Springdale, where there are a number of nice motels, or in Zion Lodge three miles into the park's main canyon. We made the right choice. Zion Lodge is not to be missed. We had a motel room for three nights at about $165 a night. The room was quiet, pleasant, well-appointed, with a small balcony, and... more

Okay, so the lodge is not a five star hotel. I will give you that! However, the reasonable price you pay for a nice clean, spacious room is more than deserved by the location. There is no comparison between staying in the park and staying in Springdale. Stay in Springdale and you experience what you experience in every other tourist... more

What a beautiful setting for a hotel, wonderful views indeed. Rooms perhaps may seem a bit basic, but perfectly clean. The staff in the Lodge and the other park facilities were all very helpful and polite. more

We stayed here during our first trip to Zion because we didn't know about the hotels and motels available in Springdale. We really expected much more, but it was overall very average. Yes, the location of the lodge is nice, but wow it was $200+ a night for accommodations that really weren't that great. We liked the location but were... more

This was an excellent choice of lodging for our trip - we were able to ride our Harley into the National Park right up to the Lodge! Visitors who weren't staying at the lodge have to use the Park shuttle to travel inside the park, so we really enjoyed the fact we could ride right in. The lodge itself was... more

We stayed at the Zion Lodge for 2 nights. The room was a good size, clean and quiet. No TV, which was nice so we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the entire atmosphere of Zion while we were there. The AC worked well when we needed it. The location is spectacular, you are surrounded by 6000 foot peaks. Stunning... more
