Okay, so the lodge is not a five star hotel. I will give you that! However, the reasonable price you pay for a nice clean, spacious room is more than deserved by the location. What a beautiful setting for a hotel, wonderful views indeed. Rooms perhaps may seem a bit basic, but perfectly clean. The staff in the Lodge and the other park facilities were all very helpful and polite. more

This was an excellent choice of lodging for our trip - we were able to ride our Harley into the National Park right up to the Lodge! We stayed at the Zion Lodge for 2 nights. The room was a good size, clean and quiet. No TV, which was nice so we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the entire atmosphere of Zion while we were there. Booked a cabin a year in advance for 2 of us. We enjoyed staying here but would love to see the beds updated a bit as the matresses are a little hard. It would also be nice to add a queen bed in the cabins. The location in the center of the park is what makes this a great place... more

We did a south rim, north rim, Zion and Bryce trip in Sept '09 and stayed in cabins with fireplaces at each. I think Zion was the highest in price and actually should be the lowest.
