I rented one of the Studios here. That gives you, as well as the ensuite bathroom, a kitchen complete with fridge, 3-ring gas cooker and all the kitchen equipment you need. “Great place for budget travellers”

We spent our first night in Madagascar in this hotel and it was great value for money. The owner John was very friendly, cooked us a good meal and assisted with all questions that we had. We especially enjoyed the great juice for breakfast and the free wireless internet - not as common in Madagascar yet!

I had a very good stay in the Le Palmier Hotel. My room was clean and tidy. The service was very good and very freindly. The owner spoke fleunt English and was very helpful.

The Hotel le Palmier is a small and friendly bed and breakfast establishment run by an highly attentive Anglo-Malagasy couple in Tulear town centre.
